Providing High Quality Veterinary Care to Evanston Illinois Pets.
Terry Animal Hospital is one of the few animal hospitals offering pet acupuncture in the Evanston and surrounding area. Acupuncture is a treatment method used in conjunction to traditional veterinary medicine. For more than 3,000 years acupuncture has been used as a means of stimulating specific points on the body to release neurotransmitters such as beta-endorphins and serotonin. Acupuncture has been found to reduce pain associated with hip dysplasia, ligament injuries and arthritic conditions. Can also reduce seizure duration and frequency and lessen effects of allergies.

Most of the time the acupuncture needles are left in place for a matter of seconds upwards of 30 minutes depending on the treatment goals.

“Great care for my dog from accupuncture to dental work. I trust Dr. Blose and the other partners a lot. The support staff excellent–helpful and cheerful, it is always a treat to call or come in to the office.“
“Excellent veterinarians and staff. Dr Alison Fink is terrific! Our Husky received exceptional care and treatment.”
“All of the Doctors and staff truly care. Probably the last practice of its kind. I drive 120 miles to come here. That should speak volumes. The level of compassion has not changed since Dr. Terry (1960’s).”
